The Electrical pack tunes Manuall for panel upgrades, EV charger installs, generators, and code-compliance work. Apply it at signup or from Settings -> Vertical Packs.

What the pack adds

Custom fields

• Customer (4): Service Panel Amperage, Service Panel Brand, Wiring Type, Has Solar Installation.
• Job (1): Load Calculation Required. Permit number and inspection result are not fields here; they belong to Permits, which tracks them per job.
• Equipment (3): Voltage, Amperage Draw (A), Dedicated Breaker Size (A).

None of the eight are required. The two that earn their keep are Service Panel Brand, whose options include Federal Pacific and Zinsco, and Wiring Type, whose options include Knob & Tube and Aluminum. Fill those on the first visit and the customer list becomes a replacement lead list. Add your own at Custom Fields.

Job templates

Thirteen, each with a duration for the slot finder. Whole-Home Rewire 2400 min, Standby Generator Install 720, Panel Upgrade (200A) 480, EV Charger Install (Level 2) 240, Smoke and CO Detector Replacement (Whole House) 150, Emergency Call (After Hours) 120, Annual Safety Plan Visit 90, Breaker Replacement 75, Service Call (Diagnostic) 60, Ceiling Fan / Light Fixture Install 60, Whole-House Surge Protection 60, Outlet / Switch Replacement 45, Recessed Lighting Install (Per Can) 30.

That 2400 is a flat forty hours on a job that runs weeks. Schedule a rewire by hand and use the template for the scope, the notes and the checklist.

Required skills: Electrical on all thirteen, plus Service and Permit on Panel Upgrade (200A) and Whole-Home Rewire, and Generator on Standby Generator Install. If nobody carries those tags at Team and Availability, the slot finder gates every tech off those three.

All thirteen pre-fill billable lines. Two are placeholders, not measurements: Whole-Home Rewire pre-fills the per-square-foot rewire line at 1,800 plus a panel upgrade and a permit fee, and the detector job pre-fills six detectors. Count the house before the estimate goes out.

Every template links a checklist. Panel Upgrade Checklist on the panel upgrade and the rewire, Whole-House Safety Inspection on Service Call (Diagnostic), Annual Safety Plan Visit and the detector job, Pre-Service Safety Check (LOTO) on the other eight. The diagnostic one is miscast: a dead-outlet call opens a 19-item whole-house audit. Repoint it to the LOTO check unless you sell every service call as an inspection.

Services

Twenty-six price book lines, each with Default, Member and Commercial tiers plus a cost, all badged "Set your price" until you save them. Fifteen are flagged for public booking and the public site; that form makes a lead, not a calendar slot.

• Service and diagnosis: Diagnostic Service Call (Electrical), Emergency After-Hours Visit (Electrical), Electrician Labor per hour, Whole-House Safety Inspection, Electrical Safety Plan Membership per year, Electrical Permit Fee flat rate, Old Fixture and Equipment Haul-Away.
• Devices and components: Outlet Replacement (Standard), GFCI / AFCI Outlet Replacement, Light Switch Replacement, Smart Switch / Dimmer Install, Circuit Breaker Replacement, Whole-House Surge Protector, Smoke / CO Detector Replacement.
• Service and panel: Panel Upgrade - 200A, Sub-Panel Install (60-100A), Whole-Home Rewire per square foot.
• Circuits and installs: Level 2 EV Charger Install, Dedicated 240V Circuit (Range / Dryer), New Outlet Installation (New Circuit), Hot Tub Circuit and Disconnect, Ceiling Fan Install, Recessed Light Install, Bathroom Exhaust Fan Replacement, Exterior Flood Light Install (Motion Sensor), Standby Generator Install (Whole-Home).

Two carry a caveat in their own description. Standby Generator Install (Whole-Home) is the install only, so the set itself goes on as its own line. Whole-Home Rewire bills per square foot, so a quantity of 1 bills one square foot; the rewire template is the only thing that fills that number in for you.

Checklists

Three, shipped for you to check against your own procedure at Checklists. Fifty items between them, and two thirds of them capture a number, a choice or a photo rather than a tick.

• Panel Upgrade Checklist, 19 items, 5 required. Permit posted, utility disconnect coordinated, dead verified with a meter, neutral and ground separated, service entrance and grounding electrode conductor sizes, calculated load total, water and gas bonding, lug torque setting, L1, L2 and neutral-to-ground voltages after energize, before and after photos, inspection result.
• Whole-House Safety Inspection, 19 items, 4 required. Panel condition and double taps, GFCI devices tested and how many failed to trip, receptacles with open ground or reversed polarity, measured line voltage and main feeder draw, oldest detector manufacture year, branch wiring type observed, whether aluminum branch connections are pigtailed with approved connectors, panel interior and service entrance photos, overall risk rating.
• Pre-Service Safety Check (LOTO), 12 items, 5 required. Lock and tag applied and who holds the key, meter proven live-dead-live, measured voltage before contact, energy source isolated at, arc flash PPE category worn, job briefing head count, work area barricaded, photo of the lock and tag on the disconnect.

Parts

Twenty truck items across ten categories: Breakers, Devices, Wire and Cable, Conduit and Fittings, Connectors, Boxes, Panel Gear, Life Safety, Lighting, Grounding and Bonding. Cost and price are a national average, stock is zero and no reorder point is set, because nothing here knows what is on your truck. Counting it once at Parts and Inventory is the first pass.

The bill of materials wires 27 rows to 14 services, so the tech sees the part the job needs and the office sees what to keep stocked. Level 2 EV Charger Install pulls four, New Outlet Installation pulls four, Panel Upgrade pulls three. One part is wired to nothing, the yellow twist-on connectors, which is fine for a box of wire nuts.

Where it will be wrong for you: the wire is 12/2 and 6/3 NM-B only, so if you pull THHN in pipe, or run 14/2 or 10/3, none of that is in the list. The only load center is an indoor 40-space main breaker, not an outdoor meter-main combo. And twelve services carry no material at all, including Smart Switch / Dimmer Install, Bathroom Exhaust Fan Replacement and the generator install, so those quote labor and nothing else until you add the part.

Seasonal pricing proposals

Three rules, all shipped switched off. The pricing engine ignores an inactive rule, so nothing moves until you open one and turn it on at Seasonal Pricing.

• Storm Season, Jun 1 to Oct 31, 1.20x on Emergency After-Hours Visit (Electrical). Summer storms take out masts and panels, and those calls land nights and weekends.
• Hurricane Season Demand, Aug 1 to Oct 31, 1.20x on Standby Generator Install (Whole-Home). Dead weight inland, and short by a month on the Gulf.
• Winter Slow Season, Jan 2 to Feb 28, 0.85x on Whole-House Safety Inspection. It starts on the 2nd and stops on the 28th, so Jan 1 and a leap-year Feb 29 fall outside it.

Permits

Electrical work almost always needs a permit. Track each one from the job's Permits tab or the cross-job Permits list, moving it through Applied, Approved, Inspection Scheduled, Passed or Failed, and recording the inspection result.

The fee is a job cost unless you say otherwise. Mark the permit row billed to the customer when you pass it through, and bill it with the Electrical Permit Fee line so the margin on the job is honest either way.

Typical workflow

• Panel Upgrade - 200A starts at $3,850 in the pack. Send it as an estimate with a deposit, around 25%, and let the customer approve and pay in the portal.
• EV charger installs are the growth line and one of the fifteen flagged for public booking, so a "Get a quote" CTA feeds them straight in as leads.
• Recover the diagnostic fee on the follow-up repair. The Service Call template pre-fills that line, so delete it on the repair visit or the customer pays it twice.
• The Safety Plan Membership bills per year, not per visit, and the Annual Safety Plan Visit template pre-fills it every time. Run plan visits as recurring jobs and drop the membership line on every visit after the first of the plan year.

Compliance to watch

• Your state master or journeyman electrician license.
• OSHA 10 or 30.
• General liability and workers comp.

Re-applying and mixing packs

Applying a pack twice adds only what is missing, so re-apply after an update without losing an edit. Generator is the usual second pack if you sell standby sets, since this one carries the install line but none of the service side. Solar pairs with the Has Solar Installation field, and Security Systems and Handyman are common add-ons. Apply any of them from Settings -> Vertical Packs.
