The Equipment record here is not a machine. It is the structure: walls, slab and footings, plus whatever piers, anchors, drain and sump are already in them. Set the baseline elevation on the first inspection and every later visit has something to measure against. Crack Width is text on purpose, so "1/16 hairline, widening to 1/4 at the corner" fits. Checklists
Three, shipped for you to check against your own procedure. Inspection Checklist (17 items) is the survey: total elevation difference, low point location, widest crack width, crack pattern, out-of-plane wall displacement, wood moisture at the rim, humidity, water evidence, grade slope, downspout discharge distance, sump status, interior distress, and a photo of each measured crack with the tape in frame.
Pier Install Checklist (18 items) is the record that defends the job: 811 ticket, excavation depth to footing, footing thickness, drive pressure at refusal, final installation torque, the torque correlation factor used, depth to bearing, bracket bolt torque, lift achieved, post-lift elevation, photos of the bracket before backfill. Pre-Service Safety Check (10 items) is excavation: competent person named, soil classification, max depth, protective system, ladder within 25 ft of travel, spoil set back 2 ft, atmosphere tested.

Parts
Twenty-six truck-stock items under an FR- prefix, in seven categories: crack injection (low-viscosity structural epoxy, surface seal paste, ports, hydrophobic polyurethane resin, mechanical packers), piering (push bracket and tube sections, helical lead, extension, retrofit bracket), wall bracing (anchor assembly, carbon fiber strap kit), crawl space (support jack, 12 mil vapor barrier), sump systems (basin kit, pump, battery backup, AGM battery), plus interior drainage channel and slab lifting foam.
Cost and price are a national average, on hand is zero and no reorder point is set, because nothing here knows what is on your truck. Count it and set your own. Twenty bill-of-materials rows tie those parts to twelve services, sized per unit of the service: 0.12 tubes of epoxy and 1.2 ports per linear foot of crack, 0.25 drain channel sections per foot of interior drain, one basin and one pump per sump install.
Two are worth checking against your own numbers. A push pier carries 7 tube sections, about 21 ft of depth, and a helical a lead plus 3 extensions, about 20 ft. If your soil finds bearing at 8 ft, or you routinely drive past 30, that consumption is wrong and your job cost with it. Parts and Inventory.
Seasonal pricing proposals

The pricing engine ignores an inactive rule, so nothing moves until you turn one on. The dates assume a freeze climate. On expansive clay in Texas the drought rule is the one that matters and frozen ground is noise. Seasonal Pricing.
Typical workflow
- The inspection is the product, not a favor. Sell it, shoot the elevations, map the cracks, and leave a written report the same day. That report is what a second opinion gets measured against.
- Repairs go out as an estimate with a deposit. Piers and anchors are ordered to a plan, so the deposit covers material you cannot send back. See Estimates and Deposits.
- Underpinning, wall bracing and structural drainage usually pull a permit and an inspection. Log it in Permits so the fee lands against that job's margin instead of overhead.
- Excavation, concrete cutting and plumbing for a sump discharge are commonly outside work. Track them under Subcontractors and flag the row billed-to-customer only when the GC pays that vendor direct.
- Refusal comes early, the footing is half what the plan assumed, an obstruction eats a day: that is a Change Order, not a quiet edit of the estimate.
- The Annual Foundation Monitoring Visit is recurring revenue and warranty defense at once. Wrap it in a Service Agreement and put it on a recurring job.
The report, the warranty, and getting paid in stages
Most piering and bracing work is designed by somebody else. Attach the stamped drawing to the job so the crew reads the same pier count and torque spec the estimate was priced from, and put the engineer's fee on the job as a cost rather than overhead. When the plan and the field disagree, the checklist numbers are what you send back for a revision.
Backfill hides everything the customer paid for, so push the before-backfill photos out through the Customer Portal the day they are taken. That habit pays off later, because the warranty outlives the job by decades and usually transfers with the house. Put the term on the invoice with the Warranty (Years) field, and keep the structure's Equipment record current: repairs installed, baseline elevation, water management in place. A claim opened in Warranties then carries the job, the photos and the torque log with it.
Nobody pays for a $30,000 underpinning in one lump at the end. The deposit rides on the approved estimate, which mints its own invoice and is credited back on the final one, so deposited dollars are never billed twice. Bill the stages after that as separate invoices against the same job, or take partial payments against one invoice. Pick one and stay with it, or reconciling a job against its deposit gets ugly. Re-applying and mixing packs
Applying the pack twice adds only what is missing, and never overwrites a price you set or a checklist item you rewrote. Foundation shops commonly run a second pack: Concrete if you already pour the flatwork you tear out, Gutters because half of what you diagnose is water landing at the wall, and Water Restoration or Mold Remediation if you handle the wet basement instead of handing it off.
